Splat Experience DVD Project We started working on our DVD project in early 2005. At this time, due to popular demand, we have released two of our painting presentations on DVD as singles. The first one is a version of our Above All presentation. This is the same painting presentation seen on YouTube, though it is a different event. This version was filmed in Ridgeland, Mississippi at the Colonial Height Baptist Church in January of 2007. We have also released our presentation The Sacrifice on DVD. This version was filmed live at the 2005 Pro-Life music festival in Warsaw, Indiana. This DVD also includes the following bonus features: - Cover Me music video with Betsy Muehlhoff - About Wait For You - Wait For You music video with Brian Timothy - Merry Mas teaser Our full 2-disc DVD project is in development and we hope to have this available in late 2008. This resource will be one the church, or the individual, can use to promote a corporate or individual atmosphere for worship. The following is a growing list of the content of this project. This short film is a resource for sharing the gospel with youth groups, in churches, or in the privacy of your home. A gospel challenge is given at the end by David Cummings, from the band Ninety9Left. Extras: We also plan to have interviews with those who have been involved with starting the ministry as well as those who have played a part in what are doing. We will also have some humorous outtakes from some of our filming sessions. The following is a list of what we have done so far: - On September 3, 2004 we filmed Ninety9Left as they performed at the Solid Rock 4 music festival in Middlebury, Indiana. We have edited two live music videos from this performance: "Lord You Are" and "Take My Life (Shine for You)." - A live version of "The Sacrifice" with David Cummings singing the Ninety9Left song "The Cost" was filmed in Troy, Michigan on December 19, 2004. - Snow scenes for an outside winter version of Above All were filmed in early February, 2005. (Some of these scenes may also be used in the video for "The Little Drummer Boy.") The actual painting will be shot in the studio against a green screen at a later date. - On February 5, 2005 we shot footage for a studio music video for Brian Timothy's song "Bring It." The filming took place during an all-day video shoot at the First Baptist Church of Pierceton, Indiana. - We filmed our first set of studio painting presentations on February 26, 2005 on the campus of Goshen College in the Reith Recital Hall (Courtesy of Stan Daugherty and Higher Level Sports). We shot footage for "The Sacrifice" and "The Little Drummer Boy." We also shot video for our DVD menu pages. - On February 26, 2005 a live version of "Bring It" by Brian Timothy was filmed at the Blue Lion Coffeehouse, Pierceton, Indiana - The debut of the Worship Wall with Ninety9Left was videotaped on April 24th in Wooster, Ohio. This 45 minute worship set also presents a 24'x8' SE mural painting. - On June 4th and 5th the footage for our mini-movie "The Sinner" was filmed in Warsaw, Indiana - featuring Eric Miker from Decemberadio. - Footage for our "Blessed" video was shot with Eric Miker from Decemberadio on June 4th. - Live footage of the "Blessed" debut was filmed at the 2005 Pro-Life Music Festival - July 2. - Preliminary editing has begun for several painting presentations and Brian Timothy's "Bring It" music video in June 2005. - Additional footage with Kirsti Elliot, one of the narrators in "The Little Drummer Boy" was filmed on September 1, 2005 - The first half of the "Redeemer" video was filmed on October 1, 2005 in Elkhart, Indiana. - A live version of "Above All" was filmed on October 16, 2005 at the Woodside Bible Church in Troy, Michigan. - Portions from performances of "Blessed" were filmed on October 15 and 16, 2005 at the Woodside Bible Church in Troy, Michigan. - A time lapse sunset for an outdoor version (with rain) of "The Sacrifice" was filmed on October 29, 2005 in Claypool, Indiana. - The pull-down for the "Redeemer" resurrection scene was filmed on the grounds of the Pierceton Elementary School, Pierceton, Indiana on November 5, 2005. - A scene for the end of "Redeemer" with nearly 200 children was filmed on November 11, 2005 during recess at Warsaw Christian School, Warsaw, Indiana. - The gospel presentation for "The Sinner" was filmed with David Cummings on November 12, 2005. - The initial recording studio session for the movie credits song "You Gave You" was held on December 10, 2005 at Samsson Productions recording studio. Musicians included: David Cummings, guitars, Woody Miller, bass, Terry Imhoff, drums, and Marc Eckel, keyboards. Recorded by Larry DeVincent.
